ministry beliefs
one true god
We unequivocally believe the scriptures teach that there is One God and one God alone, revealed in
three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Another way to describe this ONENESS of the Triune God is to understand it as a super personal union of three Divine persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—of such an intense kind that there is only one God.2 We believe life comes ultimately through the Son, who became human, suffered, died, was buried and resurrected, and who is the only Mediator between God and humanity. We believe the Holy Spirit is an ever-present companion as comforter, teacher, guide and prayer partner.
Genesis 1:1,26; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1: 10-11; John 1:1-3; 14:26; Acts 2:4; Ephesians 4:30
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and infallibly written Word of God, fully inerrant in
their original manuscripts and superior to all human authority, transmitted to the present without corruption of any essential doctrine. The Holy Scriptures reveal the principles by which God will judge every one, and sets forth the Supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried.

salvation
We believe the scriptures teach that salvation is entirely a grace gift of God. We cannot work for it.
We work for the Glory of God because of our salvation. We believe those whom are truly born again are eternally secure.
Ephesians 2:8; John 3:36; 6:38-40; 8:31-32; James 1:22
We believe the scriptures teach that sanctification [set apart for God; make holy] is initiated at the
moment of justification [freed from the guilt of sin] and regeneration [born again]. It is a gradual life-long process as the believer walks with God and grows in grace and obedience.
Ephesians 4:24; Philippians 2:12; 1 Peter 2:9
sanctification
We believe the scriptures teach that in order to receive salvation, sinners must repent and be
regenerated (born again), at which time we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Evidence of regeneration appears by way of the fruit of the spirit.
John 3:3-5; Romans 3:23; 10:9-13; Galatians 5:22-23
regeneration
We believe the scriptures teach that Jesus’ death on the cross declares the unrighteous Believer
righteous and free from the imputation of guilt. God does not impute, does not count, our sins against us — we are truly forgiven.
Psalm 32:2; Luke 23:34; Acts 13:39; 2 Corinthians 5:19
justification
baptism
We believe the scriptures teach that Christian baptism is immersion in water—whenever physically
possible—of a believer, into the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost. As disciples of JesusChrist, we believe the act of immersion symbolizes our death to sin and resurrection to a new life. We do not believe in infant baptism3, or baptism of the dead.
Matthew 28: 19-20; Mark 1: 9-11
We believe the bread and wine are symbols of the sacrificed body and blood of Jesus Christ. In
addition, celebration of the Lord’s Supper is an occasion when God's people pledge their unity with one another and their loyalty to Christ. We believe the scriptures teach that self-examination and repentance must precede taking of the bread and wine.

3 We believe the scriptures teach infants and children should be dedicated to God until they are able to make a conscious decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We also believe the scriptures teach that parents and/or adult guardians are responsible for the spiritual formation of every child over which they have guardianship. See Deuteronomy 4:9; 11:19; 1 Samuel 1-3; Proverbs 22:6.
Jesus said: If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
